PG:Bobby JacksonSG:Chris PaulSFeja StojakovicPFavid WestC:Tyson ChandlerThis is what I would do, but I've heard that Peja will play SG. Who knows, they could move Bobby to the bench and start Desmond Mason at the 2. They could also put Peja at the 2 guard, and start someone like Cedric Simmons or Rasual Butler.
No.... Jackson wont start at PG, that woudl be stupidPG: Chris PaulSG/SF: Desmond MasonSG/SF: Peja StojakovicPF: David WestC: Tyson ChandlerLook to see Jackson and Paul on the floor together a lot though, similar to what we did with Speedy this year. Butler, Mason and Peja are a good rotation at the 2 and 3 positions, with Linton Johnson filling in from time to time. Mark Jackson and Cedric Simmons backing up David West, and Hilton Armstrong backing up Chandler. Looks like a solid rotation
Eh, I don't like Chris Paul at SG, they're not going to move him out of his natural position. Move Jackson back to bench and bringing in Mason at the two sounds good.
Why would you start Action Jackson sunnyd. He's basically taking the role he's had with Kings and Grizz and replacing the same role Speedy had last year. Which is to backup the starting pg, providing a spark and scoring touch. I think Okie has the right mind in the starting lineup. It's similar to what Bobcats are doing with Morrison/Wallace. They'll switch between sg and sf on the offensive and defensive ends.
I know, but I was thinking of an alternative to starting Peja at SG. Desmond Mason at starting SG would be much better. I agree with TheOkie though, this will be a solid rotation.
Its basically the same team as last year. except instead of Kirk Snyder starting, we have Peja. And instead of PJ Brown, we have Tyson Chandler. I say upgrade
SunnyD, wtf? Chris Paul is 6"0 and their superstar pg. He does not even play like a two. He is the one that runs their offense, and he likes to dish the ball a ton. Why on earth would you move your superstar from his natural position to another in order to start freaking Bobby Jackson? WTF?imo it isg-Chris Paulsg-Rasual Butlersf-Peja Stoakovicpf-David Westc-Tyson Chandler6th Man: Desmond Mason or B-Jax

How come you have Butler over Mason though, just curious. I would figure BJax will hold down the 6th and Butler the 7th. Mason would compliment Peja much better than Butler because Peja and Butler are both primarily shooters. Mason is a slasher and supposedly he has improved his midrange game aswell as his shooting. So I think Mason's slashing andPeja's shooting would make for a great combo in the starting lineup.
Your right. Desmond Mason is more likely to play guard than Butler and Mason is the better player ebcause he provides defense and great athletic ability. Also, he has been a 17 ppg scorer before so he could be in position to have a phenomanal year.
LMAO, CB4... David Wells....Yeah, unless something changes Mason will be the starter, not Butler. Also while Mason did average like 17 points in Milwuakee, dont expect that to happen again here. He will at best be the 3rd option on the team behind Peja and West
Yeah, I will only expect maybe 12-14 from him next year. He obviously won't have the same role he did in Milwaukee as the #2 option.
I know, I put him at the 2 guard, because I didn't think Desmond should start. I easily would put him back at point guard now. I was just thinking of an alternative to putting Peja at the 2 guard.
