LMA plus the #10 to the Clippers for:

    Griffin + Bledsoe

If Clipps can obtain Howard - then Jordan becomes back-up and Twin Tower at times. With LMA / Howard / Jordan / Paul - - this team has little weakness.

Blazers on the other hand obtain a great asset in Bledsoe (sixth man and/or future trade bait) and an all-star in return to run with Lillard in Griffin.

Take our cap space and take the gamble on Bynum?? If he came back to play the Blazers would be formidable!

    Lillard/Bledsoe
    Matthews/Barton
    Batum/Claver
    Griffin/Re-sign Hickson
    Bynum/Leonard

The Clipps would likely want more sine Griffin is a bonafide star that sells tickets. LA isn't that type of player.

Good imagination; but I absolutely hate Griffin! Clips would be 10 times better if they replaced Griffin with Aldridge.

I think the Clippers can sell plenty of tickets with CP3.

This is a legit trade proposal. And if we can lure a big man to join us and/or take a gamble on Bynum - we are contenders. We too will sell tickets with Griffin. I for one prefer LMA over Griffin as a player - and the trade does make the Clippers a better team....but trades don't often take place unless both teams see a win-win.

I would much rather trade Batum for Jordan, draft Schroeder at 10, then sign Iguodala in FA.

    Lillard/Schroeder
    Matthews/Barton
    Iguodala/Claver
    Aldridge/Freeland
    Jordan/Leonard

No, I envisioned this deal on my own and checked it at realgm.com - trade was approved, based upon the numbers.
This is just pre-draft fun. But I thought it was solid for both teams and certainly prevents the Blazers from rebuilding.

Griffin sell more jerseys than CP3 and is in more commercials. He's not their best player, but he's their most marketable. LA doesn't have the game or personality to be marketable on that level. This is still a business.

"solid" does this work for ya? It works as far as the numbers go; LMA will be crying to leave next year, so get value from him now; and in return we would receive Griffin and Bledsoe - this is a good thing. Beats Nerlens Noels, etc. etc.

There is no better business than winning a championship.

"legit" works just fine. My trade proposal conforms to the rules and meets the CBA. I know you must have something of "value" to add to the thread Nikky? (look up the meaning of "value"......"relative worth")

LA + CP3 isn't a championship squad. It's probably worse then what hey have now.

Here's the Clippers front office reacting to that proposal:

I believe he said that this could happen IF the Clips land Howard. Now, that's a mighty big "IF", but I think CP3, LMA, & Howard is a pretty darned good Big 3.

That said...totally do not like Griffin. Your picture works for me as far as NO slamming the phone on the Clips.
