Not much going on the prospect front. Seems like with Emery and Fortescue they drafted two stay at home defenseman with a high defensive IQ that rarely make mistakes. Emery was considered the best defensive defenseman by a wide margin in his draft class. His defensive skills are elite according to scouting reports. Mancini was another guy with that kind of skill set. Just look at what Borgen has done for that moron Miller. So while Rangers fans are sucking off Kakko now that he has a few goals, the team couldn't get any defense from their defenseman. I'm starting to think they need to sign Borgen soon. However, the way he's playing, I would not be surprised to see the Rangers ask for a first rounder at the deadline. However, I don't think they will do that. I think they will resign him.

What I do know is that there’s a tremendous lack of offensive talent with our forwards and pretty much nonexistent with our centers in our farm system.

Garand had his worst game of the seasons letting up seven goals against the devil farm system. What else is new

Laba with a hat trick last night. Hopefully, he’s finally over that injury that hampered him and he can have a huge, second half.

Laba had 2 goals in his teams 5-4 win. Starting to play better but doesn't look like he has much help this year. Othmann had a goal as the Pack sucked again losing 6-3. Not much on the farm right now. Years of pissing away draft picks and not stock piling any.

Othmann 2 g 1 a. He’s 22 and he’s perfect for this team. It’s time to bring him up. Smith or Vesey will probably be moved. You cannot leave him in a minors any longer, or you’ll ruin him. He can absolutely take a roll in the fourth line with his physicality for the end of the year. Then next year he can take a top nine roll.

I agree Brennan at least warrants a look, it's alarming how little scoring is being done in Hartford and how only a few players on the roster were actually drafted by the Rangers.

Othmann 2 goals today. They need to call him up full-time after the break

The Pack suck offensively. Othman has 12 G 7 A in 25 games coming off a long injury. Those numbers are outstanding considering what he had to come back from and his surrounding cast sucks moose dong. Drury is going to have to move somebody to create a spot. I would put him in on the 4th line now that Edstrom is out for probably the season. Moving Smith could be a major blow to making the playoffs. He's solid in his role. However, considering all the picks dumbass has given away, Lindgren and Smith are probably our best options to getting some decent picks back.

Othmann has 9 goals in last 11 games and his second multi goal game of the week. Unless this kid is part of a trade for a Brady tkachuk he needs to be up here immediately once play starts again.

Robertson also needs to be called up full-time as the permanent replacement to Lindgren. Hopefully, we can get at least a second rounder for Lindgren.

Does Belzile have to blow the coach to get called up?

Pack won 6-3. Roobroeck has had a good rookie year for a 6’7, 20 year old. 11 g, 11 a. His brother supposed to be one of the top draft prospects either this or next year. Definitely worth watching. Hopefully, he can pump up the point total to around 50 points next year.
