Anybody else ever taken them? I'm not positive whether they're only in California or other states use the test, too. Just wondering...I took the test today. Anyone who wanted to take the test had to pay $15 and had to study for them. If one were to pass the test, he/she would receive a Scholarship. They're strictly for 9th-11th graders, but the scholarship only counts for 11th graders. I took the just a couple of hours ago.. It lasted from 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM. During breaks, I went outside and flirted with girls.. I'm not saying I'm a big time playa all of a sudden, but GODDAMN! I have mad game, b! :worthy: Respect me.BTW, the P in PSATs stands for "preliminary", so the test was basically the Pre-SATs.
Yeah, I'm sure they are available in every state since all major school require a SAT or ACT test. I took it every single year in high school except for my senior year. I was one of the lucky ones that got to take the test before it had the essay part on it that was required. My class was the last class that didnt have the essay part on the SAT. I'm sure as hell glad too.
I just took them wednesday, as a freshman at my high school..They said not many schools in the state of GA do take them as freshman. Ours lasted from 7:40-12:00. The introduction to the test mustve taken about 35-40 minutes..

I took the test, not for the scholarship, but to be prepared for the actual SATs. I don't know what your purpose will be. I didn't even study for the test. The English section was so simple for me. The Geometry killed me, though. I had to guess on most of it. :no3:
I just want to do well. The AIMS test is what really matters for the scholorship but good SAT scores always help.

We didn't get anything for PSATs, their were just practice for the real SATs. We didn't pay for them either, I guess things have changed since I left high school, all 12 years! But I took them for 2 years before my SATs. I guess their good practice(I did well on the SAT both times).
