For Kyle Farnsworth? Stupid trade expsually since the best catcher on the team now is B.Inge.

It's really not a terrible trade. Pudge has been eh all season, and Farnsy has been good. He'll also net you a pick, while Pudge probably doesn't. I think the Yankees got the better of the Tigers, but it wasn't a robbery.

The Yanks are getting a hall of famer, while the Tiggers are getting a jurneyman reliver who we traded to ATL a few years ago. Catching is also a weak spot on our team. I dont think we have any great catching prospects in the minors.

Oh get off the future hall of famer thing. Clemens is also a future HoFer. Do you want him as your ace?
He's not the player that he was before. Kyle's been very good this year, and will shore up your BP. Plus you might be able to see that guy in a brawl. Dude could beat the shit out of anyone!

The Tigers save 7mil prorated, which can be used to sign international prospects.

Pudge has been hitting way better lately, now hitting .297. He was hitting in the .260's just a little while ago. Bad trade for Detroit.
