Alright, so 2005 didn't really start off with a bang. But, just from watching J.R. the other night, I'm feeling pretty confident that the Warriors can climb out of last in the West over the next couple of weeks and go into the All-Star break strongly.

Murphy had a few game funk, but he's consistently putting up good numbers. And after reading the article about J.R.'s time on the bench, I'm even more encouraged that the W's made the right choice in locking him up (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?...SPG49ASJ6F1.DTL).

The W's were playing somewhat consistent basketball before J.R. went down with the major ankle sprain, and they face the Lakers tonight and have LeBron at home on Saturday. The next two games should set the tone for the run toward the All-Star Break.

Hopefully, tonight we'll all be raising our glasses toward a W's victory. And taking a shot of rum for each Richardson throwdown.

Glad to have you back JRICH! Let's get a 5 game win streak together.

I'm excited for him, but it's a team effort and I hope he gets more help soon, especially from the outside, the post game, and in general, the defensive effort. If the article paints an image of Jrich that is true, then I am proud of him for what he is trying to do as part of a team and as a professional. I see hope in a Warrior player that has stepped up to become a team leader on and off the court. Now if Mully can make the right moves and he's sure that Murphy and Jrich are the real deals, he should do whatever he can to find the right players that Montgomery will want to use to fill in the holes in our entire team game. I hope the Warriors don't trade Biedrens or Pietrus, because ideally they would seem like the better fits if they ever live up to their potential. Not a whole lot of players that can physically do what they do.

^Ijust love how Murph and JR are playing together. Them and Pietrus could be a very good tandem once Pietrus understands the offense
