The Dallas fan's will be restless. Even if they have a double digit lead, they won't feel comfort in it. Any small run by Portland could take the crowd completely out of the game. The team will also feel the same pressure. I think there will be a lot of scattered and broken plays and Portland should take advantage of it. For the Blazers... They now have supreme confidence against Dallas. Yeah they are on the road, but they just showed they can overcome even the largest deficits of the game. With that confidence and Dallas's uncertainty; the Blazers have the prefect stage to shock everyone in Dallas and the world, that this team is destined to win. And going further. If Portland does come out of this series on top; I suspect the Lakers will be very concerned. They haven't played us when Roy could be at the top of his game. Also, the entire team is now contributing, so it's not like you can just take the ball out of Roy's hands and win the game. Doubles on Roy will allow players like Aldridge, Wallace and Matthews great opportunities to score. So basically, no fan of 100% ISO's, but the Roy Ball and his success maybe just what we need to go really far in the playoffs.
I don't think we can count on Brandon doing it again. What we have to do is crash the defensive boards and deny Dallas from getting second shots. Also, LA HAS to establish himself in the low post. Pressure Dallas in the low post defensively. Get to the line if we don't score.
Brandon doesn't have to do it again. Dallas just knows he can at any moment. That fear alone is what will always give Brandon respect when he has the ball in his hands. It will open so much up now.
This. By the way lost in the hubbub yesterday is that we stayed in the game by getting to the line and making all but 1 of our free throws. We were in a zone from the line.
