Dozens of countries big and small are restoring or improving their governments as we speak, returning power to the people. When will Americans have the stones to take back their country?

Russians have never "HAD" their country... that they are suddenly going to have the fortitude, mindset and aptitude to rule an egalitarian, democratic society borders on ludicrous to me. From the tsars to the USSR to the Putin-headed oligarchy, it's been a pretty continuous system in terms of how the peasants have been treated. I think that, relatively speaking, the Russians are better off than ever and I don't think that there's a real threat to overturning how things work there. At least not a threat that will turn out better for the average Russian. Ed O.
