Qatar (as well as the UAE, Saudi, Kuwait and Bahrain) imports migrant workers from Asia, takes their passports, rips up their contracts and keeps them as slaves. And they're hosting the World Cup in 2022. Between this and the fact that they are demanding the WC be in the winter (after assuring/bribing everyone to vote for them based on the fact that they had the technology to get the fields down to 70 or 80 degrees in the summer), they should just strip the tournament from Qatar and give it to the US. We have the stadiums. We have the fans (1994 was the most watched WC I think). The fact that they got it in the first place was a joke.
