Stanford football coach David Shaw has announced that junior quarterback Brett Nottingham plans to transfer. Shaw said during practice Saturday that Nottingham would be leaving the eighth-ranked Cardinal (11-2), who won the Pac-12 title and will play Big Ten champion Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1.
