Who has been watching Reserve matches regularly this season? I get highlights from my e-season ticket with the Club, but that is hardly the same thing. From what I can tell, we have a few players who in a few years could make their way at least into the starting line up of a midtable club if not ours.

To my mind the good players with potential to make it are:

Paul Anderson: Good pace and skill on the right wing, had an early season slump, but has regained form.

Jack Hobbs: Good leader in the back line and his decison making and anticipation will only get better with time.

Craig Lindfield: A good eye for goal and also brings teammates into the play. Good qualities for a young striker.

Adam Hamill: Has a good set of feet and plays well in an number of attacking positions. Has done well on loan for the latter part of the season.

Danny Guthrie: His midfield skills are a little more subtle, but is a good passer and is doing alright on loan at Southampton.

Am I being too kind to some of our own, or are there some players I have missed. Thoughts?

I've heard good things about Guthrie from my Mickey Mouser mates. I doubt he'll ever break into the line-up ahead of Benitez's army of little-known Spaniards.
