<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>By Tyler Sherkin - The Washington Wizards had the first pick of the 2001 draft and they ended up with the best player, though it of course was not Kwame Brown. In a solid draft, especially for the Warriors, many of those selected have become quality role-players.</div>^ I don't get that part but it was from the automated man on RealGM.More on it.

Kwame was a terrible pick but the rest of the draft was good. 1998 was a good year also, but most of the good players from that draft were in the top 10. They were really spread out in 2001.

The NBA 2000 draft was absolutely terrible. First pick was Stromile Swift, and the only all-star from that draft is Michael Redd, who was drafted in the 2nd round.
