So why did he decide to leave though i have not done any research on why he would want to im just curious im not the biggest blazer fan but i know you guys who are fans know they had a pretty solid squad if they could have just found there beat they could have done something great.

he wanted to point out that Bill Simmons was right about 80% of our fan base is a bunch of Soccer moms who whine... and succeeded. :D
 
He didn't care for Portland that much in the first place, and didn't see the blazers as contenders. I think making it to the second round of the playoffs the season before last caused management to think the team was on the right track and that Lamarcus would stick around if the team kept winning. When Wes Matthews blew his achilles it also blew any minute chance of keeping the starting unit together and of retaining Aldridge.

I went through something very similar last year; it's devastating emotionally to deal with.

I don't begrudge LA that reasoning; I don't even wish he'd tell us. I just wish I knew for sure.
 
LMA wanting to be closer to his mother, who lives in Dallas, is pure speculation. LMA has spent much of his off season’s time living in Newport Beach, CA.

LMA’s son, Jaylen Lea born in 2009, lives in San Antonio with his mother, a x-girlfriend of LMA’s.

If LMA wanted to play BB in Texas to be closer to his mother, or, possibly his son, he should have made that known at last years meeting with PA & NO. I am sure the Blazers would have done what they could to accommodate him by arranging a trade.

Instead, LMA made false empty promises about signing a 5 year deal with the Blazers, and then ripped the heart, soul, and motor out of the Blazer's team.

not to mention he met with Phoenix and was going to meet with NY.
