During their beef, did Nas ever call out/dissed Beyonce in any of his tracks? Were his shots specificly aimed at Rocafella/Jay or did he take shots at Beyonce as well?

    Just wondering.

I don't remember hearing anything about Beyonce, so no.

Nah, Jay-Z wasn't with Beyonce at the time. He got with Beyonce around the time he made Blueprint 2, and that's when both of them started to chill out with the shots at each other.

Speaking of Jay-Z & Beyonce, I just realised, shes like 25, and he's 37, lol.

Ok, I thought so too. Just making sure.

Nas doesn't seem like the kind of guy who'd take shots at family members and friends, specially ones that are in the same industry *cough*Ja Rule*cough*.

The Dream mama there goes that man!

not really (at least imo) unless you consider this line from "Heaven" from Godson as a shot..."it's become unbearable making hits is easy/ put a famous b**tch on a hook there you go with a platinum cd"....around that time BP2 had just dropped and Jay and Beyonce were an item and they had just made " '02 Bonnie and Clyde"

Sorry to be petty but it was the '03 Bonnie & Clyde [IMG]. And I don't think that was a subliminal shot. After saying all of those things in Ether he had no reason to be subliminal about anything. And in general, Nas is right when he said that. It was kind of like the beginning of hip-hop being dead.

Yeah, Jay didn't hold back at all after Ether. I don't understand why people think it was immature. Ether had lines like "dick sucking lips", "dick riding ******", etc., so that was fair game for Jay-Z to mention Nas' baby's mama as a response in Supa Ugly. I just think it was a rushed freestyle to quiet the Ether, which was one of the most hard-hitting diss tracks in hip-hop history.

Didn't Jay-Z and Beyonce deny that they were an item and first? I swear they confirmed the rumours about them being together in late 03 or 04?
