How much would you guys be willing to give up if it meant getting KG? The fifth pick maybe? Along with Delonte West and Theo Ratliff's contract? You guys tell me. Boston has alot of players that interset me and I know KG is interesting to most teams.

I'm not a Celtic fan but for Celtic fans on this board, I think if they thought their team could get KG for the 5th pick,Theo and Delonte West I think they would do that in a heart beat, I'm not sure but I think thats how the Celtic fans would feel.

Why would the Celtics trade Pierce? The whole idea of them getting KG is to team him up with Pierce, trading pierce would kind of go against the whole point.

Exactly. Trading Paul Pierce for Kevin Garnett would be very pointless. If we make a big deal with Minnesota, Paul Pierce isn't going to be the one to leave. That would be a very pointless trade for both Boston and Minnesota.

Both teams would remain horrible. The only way the teams would complete a trade involving either of the two superstars would mean that they would both be on the same team. Otherwise its just like swapping awful teams.

you have to team Paul and KG, otherwise you're looking at a little improvement for both teamsBoston has the #5 pick to help lure KG to boston, Minny has... nothing to pair the two up.I'd take my chances on Paul, Al, KG, Rondo and whomever else we keep to put on the court next year.screw the #5 pick, we don't need more youth.
