Hey everyone. I'm new here and was hoping I could seek your advice. I've been a Blazers fan for more than a decade but have yet to attend a game (I live in California). Anyways, my plan is to go to a game in December. Can you tell me what seats are the best? Thanks.
Personally, I like sitting up in teh 300 section. The fans are much better. Less preoccupied with buying beer and looking cool.
Check the seating chart for the Moda Center: http://www.tickpick.com/moda-center-at-the-rose-quarter-(formerly-rose-garden)-seating-chart/
Go big or go home! Get a suite! On the real though, 300 sections is the best for fan interactions but the 100s are some of the most relaxing games I've ever been to (besides crunchtime of course).
Hey Danimal! Welcome to RipCityTwo! Not sure what money you want to spend. I'd look that 200 level. It's just been remodeled and each ticket comes with a $30 credit good for anything in the Moda. It's a great way to sample some of the food there.
I appreciate all of the feedback. Since this is my first trip, I was thinking of the 100 level or even 200 level. This is not something I'll be doing everyday so I'd like to get a great seat.
Is that all 200 level or just the club seating? if so, thats a great deal... but i think the $30 is just for the club seats only.
I had no idea. But since I'm more concerned about looking cool than watching the game itself...I prefer section 100. Kidding. I was feeding into Nates response. I like 100 because I want to be closer. I'd rather watch the action side to side than behind the baskets. But you also pay for that option. If I i have to settle for 300, Id rather watch it on my own TV. But As Sly says, all depends on what you want to spend
I was looking at 112 or 101. I'd prefer to be near center court. I figure you guys know the layout better than me so I am thankful for all of the feedback.
These guys telling you to sit in the 300 level are a bunch of idiots! If you haven't ever gone to a game and don't know when you will make it to another one then you defitely want to go with the best seats you are willing to pay for. I sat 100 level behind the basket for the playoffs, which was great. I've sat center court which is nice, but me personally, I find that I would rather save the money and sit close up with a slightly poorer angle. When I go to regular season games I generally sit in the 200 level, but I've considered going 300 level and going to more games.
What section behind the basket? I got tickets to go see the Bucks next month and I'm sitting in row C of 107 I believe and I was wondering how those seats are. Usually if I sit in the 100s my dads friend gives us his seats and those were section 113 row EE... DOPE AS FUCK!
Also Danimal once you know the seating chart the real question comes into place. "What team to go see" if you watch the 76ers chances are you will get to see a blazer win. If you go see the rockets you may get to see a hell of a game, but it could be a loss...at the same time those wins against teams like Houston are much bigger, and the crowd is usually alive in those situations. I say go see a good opponent, win or lose it should be a great experience. I bet the Laker games will be great this year too. Fans hate them as much as ever and will probably be cheering like its the playoffs even if we are up 40-15.
That's sick... When I get a house eventually my goal is to have a whole wall in the man cave be a blown up version of "the shot", looks like you might be on my wall one day lol
