Suck, suck, el sucko, suckorama, blow, however you present it they are horrendous. Seems every time I watch them play, I throw up in my mouth just a little. All outside shooting, no inside presence just shot after shot, they should actually rename the team " California Clank" They suck on a scale that can only be measured by NASA researchers.
...and the Hornets in triple overtime in a back to back night for them on the road without their point guard Baron Davis and their small forward Jamal Mashburn.
This Offseason:New GM, new coach, and 200 mils This team's record: 3-10 and zero quality win This team's worth: Priceless...
No way if we bring back Musselman we'll still get nowhere because the front office will be fighting and the players will still be uneasy and there will be no execution to close out games in the 4th still. The whole organization needs a good toilet flush from top to bottom starting with Chris Cohan. I almost guarantee you that the W's will not get to the playoffs as long as he is here and I'll tell you why: He does not have the eye nor wisdom for talent when hiring general managers and he doesn't even go to the games to even know what the problem is in the first place. He's like the guy that will go along for the ride in a group science project, letting other people do most of the work, only he teamed up with complete idiots who can't do the math. If they say geniuses think alike, well so can idiots. That owner has got to be the laziest, incompetent, non-caring majority owner in basketball and we should all just boycott by just leaving a lot of empty seats in the arena this year. Not another 10 years of this guy and his decisions. I mean this is ridiculous when we are officially worse than the clippers.

But seriously, I agree totally with every thing else you said. It's time to clean house. :shakehead
It would be nice to get Muss back. at least he knows how to win an NBA game without it being a 1 win team, 0 win team, expanison team, or a 3 overtime game
also muss didn't focus on outside shots. he would enforce things. one day my dad pointed out that muss was telling his players to put their hands up. either get rid of monty or get a shooter and an inside precencse

When you have an extremley knowledgeable coach like Montgomery and his type of players, it gets frustrating to remind these guys how to play good defense and how to set a good screen. He would expect them to know it because they're pros right? The execution looks horrible, screens are only half set, the cuts and timing are way off and is no way simlar to how it is executed at Stanford. Keep in mind the plays are executed in shorter time due to the decrease in the shotclock length for the pros, but its still the same play where players need to move in and stop being lazy. Also how can we have a small forward and a shooting guard that both can't shoot off a catch and take their man off the dribble. That's just quality perimeter players right there. Let's not forget their remarkable defense either because if it weren't for Speedy they wouldn't be candidates for defensive players of the year.
I Feel really bad for the Warrior fans who have had to endure all of this for the past decade. How do you guys cope with this without giving up??
Musselman was a babysitter? He must had been a mean babysitter eh? Nobody wanted to play for him? The Warriors have never looked like this in two years. You can tell that these players don't care about playing or winning basketball games. They just want to sit and stand around and mope. They don't even talk about basketball now to the media, they just talk about the fans now. Montgomery's rotations are far worse than Musselman's rotations. I don't know how many times there are players doing nothing on the court for Montgomery and he'll just be in there for the longest of times. It's insane. Musselman always had his players producing, if it's JRich for 35 minutes, Cheaney for 20-something minutes, or Shawn Lampley for 5 minutes, there were very few times where you could sit there and say "Why is this guy in the game?" And Montgomery's use of timeouts, or the lack there of is absolutely terrible as well. Teams will storm back and there's no timeout called until the next official timeout. Or the other team will start to break away and there still won't be any timeouts called. I frankly don't know what Montgomery watches. To top that Montgomery's offense that he is in love with doesn't work and he doesn't set up plays to put his weapons in position to score and succeed. Are there reasons why the bench is not scoring, especially compared to last year? Are there reasons why he doesn't switch up the defense like Musselman did? Musselman used what he had far better than what Montgomery does. Musselman was smart in how he used Clifford, Cheaney, and his bench to fit in with the starters. Make adjustments, play zone, switch the players' individual assignments, work on team defense, etc. There is nothing of this happening. Musselman was a lot smarter than we thought. And I wouldn't care if management is fighting about Musselman, for all I care they don't know anything anyway, so they shouldn't be making decisions like that in the first place. Musselman would make Shawn Lampley look like an allstar compared to what Montgomery can do with Adonal Foyle or Clifford Robinson. That is the difference between the two coaches.
I must say that all last year I said I wanted to keep Muss. Now he might get the Grizzlies job and look out. Good for Muss.

Bad for the rest of the west. Steromile Swift, Pau Gasol, and Jason Williams, coached by Eric Mussleman. Wow that would be one real good team.
The biggest problem with the warriors is they never bother to play defense. No matter what offensive style we play from open court to half court, we'll have crappy coverage and this is why we can't get scoring runs. The easiest points are off turnovers and steals and the players just get lazy at times. And there are so many good players out there you can't afford to get lazy. I think at times Dunleavy is as lazy as Jrich on defense. But he's slow by nba standards so I'll give him that as a handicap. But if you watch those guys they are always too late rotating or getting back on D. And I know Dunleavy can run faster than Brian Cardinal of all people. He has to make the effort.
It's a shame because this team has alot of really nice athletic players on it and a quality coach. What's wrong?
