A tough, prolific Ranger scorer during the worst managed hockey organization of the 50s and 60s. Rangers needed youth so they traded him to Toronto Maple Leafs where he won his only Stanley Cup. On bad Ranger teams this guy was a powerful force with very little help from teammates. During those days the Rangers could not even put 3 lines, let alone 4 lines, on any given night. Mmmm. Things do not change with this organization. Wouldn't it be ironic if the Rangers trade Lundqvist to a contender so he can win a Stanley Cup! (I know....... blasphemy...lol) and, when will Rangers have 4 solid lines. No team can win a SC with 3 lines.
Why would a perennial cup contender, the Rangers who have won the most playoff rounds the past 4 playoff seasons, trade Hank to another contender? That's right...because our fans in here think our team stinks and isn't a real contender. Almost forgot about that...LOL.
OMG. Chuck, you are too literal. A for instance does not mean it will happen.....You only read what you want into it. Who knows Chuck......you never know what a hockey organization will do. I'm just saying things can happen. Please, you will be asking every year to add another piece because the window is still open!LOL Eric Stall is not a player to take this Ranger team to the next level. In your words, 'it is what it is..' P.S. I bet you do not even know who Andy Bathgate is.
It's a shame that a tribute post even has to be steered toward negative bullshit around here. It's like I said over a month ago this place got steered into a ditch and is now a complete joke.
