<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Now it's the Magic's turn to watch another team in schedule hell. And not even Tony Soprano can help New Jersey escape this upcoming mess. The Magic lead the Nets for the No. 8 playoff spot by percentage points, but check out their schedule, beginning tonight. The Nets face the league's best team, the Dallas Mavericks, and that's only the start of this Texas torture tour. The Nets are bound to get lost in the Texas Triangle, as they then face the Houston Rockets and the San Antonio Spurs. The Magic, if they can take care of business (a big if, of course), could carve out some space between them and the Nets. Then there's the Indiana Pacers at No. 7. They are falling like Jet Blue stock, having lost five straight. The Pacers are on a West Coast trip and already have dropped games against Phoenix and the L.A. Clippers. They face the Sacramento Kings tonight and finish with the Utah Jazz on Wednesday. The Pacers might need a pacemaker. Advantage, Orlando. (Maybe). The Magic desperately need to find a way to get to No. 7. At No. 8, they likely would face the Detroit Pistons and could get swept. But at No. 7, they could play with the any of the possible No. 2s --- the Wizards or the Raptors.</div> Source
After these next 4-6 games, the Magic's schedule turns pretty favorable. Unfortunately for us, we struggle against the bad teams more than against the good teams.
