<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Diplomacy prevents Vladimir Radmanovic from saying what everyone else is saying. He is too nice to take verbal shots at his employers, who selected him 12th overall three years ago in the NBA draft and have made him a millionaire many times over.

His parents, he will say with a wry smile, taught him better than to "bite the hand that feeds you."

But ask the 6-foot-10 Radmanovic if the past two years of his basketball life have been wasted while the Sonics attempted to convert him into a power forward, and the native of Serbia and Montenegro will stare back at you ? never breaking the gaze ? and scrunch his shoulders upward.

He'll think long and hard about the question, weighing his true feelings against his better judgment and then reply: "I won't say it was a waste. Not a waste. I just want to play. So if my only opportunity is at power forward, then that's what I'll do.

"But I don't feel like a power forward. Look at me. And I don't look like one. It's just a name. Call me whatever you want, but I know where my game is. ... As long as he is here, then there's no room for me at small forward."</div>

The 'he' obviously referring to Rashard Lewis. I would love to see Radmanovic play as a permanent SF, but I also love the job Rashard does, so it's very hard to gauge and may depend on what the team can get for either.

One thing is quite clear, both of these guys won't be on the same Seattle roster next season.

Why would the Sonics trade a SF thats playing out of position for another small forward? I'd imagine if they were to trade Vlade, then it would be in exchange for a big man or a draft pick or combination of those.

I'd hate to see Radman or Shard go but if one has to go I think it has to be Radmanovic. Sure hes been playing out of position but by sticking with him at SF you're banking on probabilities that he'll do well with the switch (and im not saying he wouldn't). Rashard has played the small forward position well, although inconsistant as we all know, he is always a threat to score 25 or more. I'm not taking anything away from Radman but if you're the Sonics right now can you really take a chance like that?

I have no objection to getting rid of Radmanovic.

Wow...that is a good one. Fits every body's need, but i think sonics will rather trade for Shareef Adur-rahim then for Donyell Marshall. They dont need another 3-point foward. They need shareef to go low-post to score or to stop the likes of Tim Duncan KG, Webber and 'sheed even Zach Randolph all those 20 and 10 power forwards kills the sonics.

^ If we target Reef, then the bait will likely be Rashard Lewis. I would do that, but if I could get Donyell by giving up Radmanovic I would do that too. However I'm pretty sure the salaries don't match in that scenario, especially considering Vlade's still on his rookie contract.
