    Ive just read a report that liverpool are looking into buy Charlton striker Darren Bent for ?14m, I can see this being a good move for Bent but (as much as I like him) is he top 4 standard?

    14M!?! Way overpriced, I'd say 5M but he has hardly played and maybe not good enough for Liverpool though..

    I seriously hope thats a piss take. there was only Chelsea with a better defence last season. When i saw the post i was gobsmacked ,i thought we was signing John O Gay from United but you meant Darren Bent! But he's not worth so much no chance, it just how over inflated the English market is.

    I dont think Bent would be a good signing. He is a good finisher but it ends their. To play for a top club you need more than that. Someone like Villa or Eto would be much better. It would be disappointing if he joined Liverpool.

    I dont think he is good enough to be a benchwarmer at Anfield.
