I guess I don't mind him playing either CB or S but it seems like we're more in need of a 3rd/4th CB than a converted safety. Branch looked good but is unproven and Eugene could be upgraded but would McAlister make an immediate impact at safety? He hasn't played safety before right? Can McAlister return kicks too? Nick Miller is out for a few weeks and JLH just got injured. Rankin kinda sucks at returning. Branch is quite capable but I'd rather not risk his health on PRs and KRs. And oh by the way Michael Huff is looking pretty decent and seemed to get a good amount of PT even if he wasn't starting. Lets not forget Michael Mitchell waiting in the wings. Oh yeah and can he play man coverage? It takes a LONG time to get good at it. Go ask Aso and Chris Johnson...and DeAngelo Hall.
