The stage is set for the Raiders first victory of the season, in our own backyard, against the whiners. Oh that Frank Gore, the fumble machine, will not see beyond the line of scrimmage as Kirk Morrison crushes him at the POA. The Raiders' D will out-score the offense on Sunday and drive the niners new season hope into the damp, sogginess of Candlestuck. Monday Night Live (local tv show that gives equal time to both whiners and Raiders) will be all about the Raiders, and I'm sure Alex Smith will be declining interviews.

Out here, the Raider and Whiner games are broadcasts back to back, and neither will play a home game simultaneously in a given week, so you can watch both. My favorite play this year was when Gore fumbled on 4th and goal from the 1, and Alex Smith tried to chase after the defender. If you saw it too, then you saw Smith tripping over himself like a keystone cop! (you had to be there, it was quite funny, as the Eagles defender took it 99 yards to TD)

    Niners D is struggling....

0-41 against KC? The Raiders, at least, got into the end zone last week. Two teams, one improving on offense, the other regressing. Two teams, one that has defense, and the other can't seem to put thier mouth-pieces back in and defend their goal line (its hard when that same mouth piece keeps getting knocked out).

Your season ends now, at the hands of an 0-3 team.

I think the seasons were over for both teams before the season began. This game could very well end in a 0 - 0 tie.

Ooooh a hostile Niners fan....everytime you post I just see how much fun it would be to throttle you. Very tasteless comments though. I find it ironic that you call someone else a fag when you root for a team that is in the gay capital of the world.

Both teams will have top 10 picks next year....this game isn't even worth discussion.

If Alex Smith plays like he did last week then the Raiders will win this one in all likely hood. If he rebounds then te 49ers blow them out. He's young and will be inconsistent.

Raiders keep finding more and more ways to lose games... Four interceptions and a fumble today? That's no way to win.

I think they gotta beat someone...the team I had been worried bout going winless was the Packers...they are worse than the Raiders but got good coaching...(Mike Mccarthy[49ers:D])

It's obvious that you haven't seen the Packers play this year, or you wouldn't be making such an asinine statement.

Packers are a much better team than the Raiders are right now.

Raiders coaching isn't helping them right now, but it's a lack of talent even moreso than that.

The packers haven't done anything to warrant them being a good team...neither has the niners or the raiders....niners are the better of the three but none of them are even half as good as the bears or the colts..

Nope your way off basis with the Packers. Green Bay has actually proved to be competitive. In comparing them to the Raiders there is no comparison. The Pack have been in just about every game outside of the Bears. They were leading the Eagles at half and then Philly pulled away but they gave them a brief scare. They beat the Lions. Played pace for pace with both the Rams and Saints who are both 4-1 now. Comparing the Pack to the Raiders is ridiculous. The Titans, Lions, and Texans are your next 3 worse teams after the Raiders. The 49ers aren't much better than GB in terms of talent. In fact GB probably has more talent. Coaching is the difference in the two teams. San Fran is well coached in most aspects of the game. Either way both will be picking in the top 10 come April.
