Raja Bell has successful knee surgery

    What the news report doesn't mention is how he got injured.

    Bell and Barbosa, along with the 2 draft picks Tucker and Strawberry went with Nash to his charity game in Vancouver. Before the game it was announced Bell would not play, though he was in uniform. Apparently he decided to play some soccer with Leandro and hurt his knee.

    Suns' Raja Bell has arthroscopic knee surgery

    The arthroscopic surgery was performed Thursday. Team physician Dr. Tom Carter said Bell had mild wear and tear of his kneecap. The doctor said Bell's play should not be limited after the four-to-six week period.

    Bell averaged 14.7 points and 2.5 assists this season.</div>
