I figured that since Rondo is doing so well, he deserves his own thread. It would be nice to watch how Rajon does for the 2nd half of the season and to document how he does in every game. His emergence has been huge for the Celtics. 2/19 vs. Denver 30 Minutes 22 Points 9-15 FGM-A 1-1 3PM-A 3-6 FTM-A 4 Rebounds 1 Assist 2/20 vs. Golden State 30 Minutes 9 Points 3-8 FGM-A 0-2 3PM-A 3-6 FTM-A 0 rebounds 6 assists
It seems like KG's return to the lineup is offensively hurting Rajon's production as well as his rebounding numbers. Not to mention his missed free throws. He needs to work on those free throws and he needs to consistently knock down a 3 or so a game.

As long as we get them. But I strongly disagree with you about Rajon hitting 3's. He doesn't need to do that, and he shouldn't. That's not his range, that's not his game, and it never will be. He just needs to stick to attacking off penetration and taking what the defense gives him from 15-16 feet. That mid-range jumper is going to be his money-maker, not the 3-ball.
Well I wasn't making comments about the team rebounding. It's good for the team if KG is grabbing 15 and Rondo isn't grabbing any. I'm just saying it doesn't look good in the statbook but the reason he isn't grabbing any is KG's presence and Rondo's lack of need to grab boards.
