well me being steelers fan, i've seen him his whole career, he's a good player but not what the redskins needed. he is an overrated punt returner, he seems to always be looking to run before he catches the ball, makes stupid decisions sometimes.............and don't think i'm bashing him cause he left, go to the steelers board i post on and you'll see i'm consistent with this since pre season.....he is nothing more then a 3rd wr
Another steelers fan here....Randel El is so over hyped its not even funny! He isnt worth the money he got...Surprise surprise though Redskins over paying mediocre players!
I don't know why you think Randle El is overhyped, he is a great athlete. The Redskins have invested alot of money into recievers, they better hope they all perform.
He is a fast guy. he has to work on his routes but he is very quick and still pretty young. He is a good guy o have on different offensive schemes like what Randle El did in the SB this year. He should be a good player for the Skins.
Redskins invest a lot of money everywhere, but I like the signing. They now have probably one of the best if not the best WR corp in the league with Moss, Lloyd, Patten, and now Randle-El.

Randle El is my favorite NFL player. That is the truth. I seen him play in college in Indiana. He is a multi-purpose player, throwing, catching, returning punts and kickoffs. Maybe he is overhyped due to a super superbowl, but so be it.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>and those plays that the steelers used him in won't work as well with the redskins</div>I agree with that, but the Steelers hardly did the trick plays anyway. They were a running team. It could be different in more of a passing enviroment.
