First of all its great to hear these guys are going nuts in the gym all summer. It seems like most players go back to their hometowns for the summer but its good to hear these guys are good friends and pushing each other to improve in the offseason. If they keep it up they can both be big time players for us, perhaps even both starters.

Secondly, Morrow is fuggin nuts and maybe the best shooter in the league as a one year player!

Larry Beil had Stephen Silas, Warriors assistant coach, on his post-game show tonight. He said Morrow at one point made 90 out of 102 3-pointers (88%). Don't know if that was a different practice or what, but the dude is sick, if he's not in the 3-point ASG contest this year, it's a crime. He's an incredible weapon to have, I only worry about how he's going to get playing time at the 2 on this team, and how, when he does get playing time, he's going to get the ball passed to him on a team with so many scorers.

Following up on that...it seems like sometimes Morrow is the third or fourth option when he's in there (especially if Maggatte's in the game, who frequently passes over a wide-open Morrow). But he should be the first or second option. Consider that you need 50% more made baskets shooting two-pointers than you do shooting three-pointers to end up with equal points. Morrow shot 46.7% from 3 last year, that means someone shooting two-pointers would have to hit a ridiculous (and virtually impossible) 70% to match his offensive output (not including foul shots, which may equal it out a little). Now I'm not suggesting that Morrow shoot every single time, obviously you need to spread the offense, have an inside-out balance, and draw fouls to succeed, but I just think they could do a lot better job of feeding Morrow.

Maybe Morrow can develop into a Reggie Miller type of offensive threat.

It's good to hear that Morrow is pushing Randolph to work on his shot, hah.

Yeah it would be a crime if Morrow is not in the 3 point contest next year.
