Just saw a rumor on hoopshype.com, it would seem like a realistic trade and I don't think Denver will get a better offer with the way he slowly declined and acted during the stretch of this season. Also, Randolph averages more points and rebounds per contest, Camby/Randolph could potentially be a force to be reckoned with underneath the boards. That's if Randolph isn't toking up all day when he goes to Denver....thoughts about this trade anyone?
Im undecided. I love Zach Randolph ON the court.Im happy to unload K-Mart's bad knees and horrible contract but I am not sure if I want Randolph either. I will post moreon this once I figure out if I like it or not.I want Juan Dixon in a deal. He could be the shooter we need. If they add Dixon I will do this.
This trade makes no sense for either team. Their essentially the same player and both have baggage. Unless both think a change of scenery would do good, I don't see how it helps either team.

Hmm, each side of the trade has its disadvantages. Randolph has loads of problems off the court that a coach has to deal with, and KMart has injury issues with his knee and might not be able to play 100% like he did in Jersey. Denver has to watch out though, Portland does have talent, but they also have alot of egotistical players. You guys already aqquired Ruben Patterson, dont turn this team the other way, especially the mini-problem inside the lockeroom during this post-season against the Clipps. I also think KMart would not want to go to Portland. Also, Randolph needs to lose a great deal of weight. Great talent, but needs to have a good frame underneath the basket.

Perhaps a change of scenery will benefit his game, it's worth a shot.
If Denver does this it is stupid. I thought George Karl liked character guys, that is not what you get with Randolph. Randolph wouldn't fit in to their fast-break style of play either. Stupid trade if it goes down.
I don't see the need for the trade. Both give there teams close to the same amount of production. Both are bad character guys. So this trade would be pretty much even.

People can turn it around if their put in the right situation in the right time.

If he can't work with Nate, how can he work with Karl.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Who does well with the Blazers? After that it was pretty much downhill because of the players problems and age. They had to rebuild and fix their image. But besides that, Randolph would not be going into a good situation in Denver like Sheed did in Detroit. Denver has no gm right now, players having problems, and no teamlike atmosphere. I can't see how that's a good situation for Randolph to go into. Also, if he has issues with Nate for being too hard nosed, wait till he plays under Karl.
Well I'm not sure about his relationship with Nate, but my point was that players who play for the Blazers always have trouble up there, and Denver might be a good change for him. No, they don't have the team that Detroit did 2 years ago but anything is better than the atmosphere in Portland.

I don't like the trade.Randolph is a very good offensive post player. But he plays no D and is not very good at running the court. I'd rather have Nene. Nene isn't as polished offensively as Randolph, but he is better on D and running the court. If Martin is traded he better be traded to add a shooter/SG.
