My daughter's class has assigned all the kids numbers and is having them write their numbers instead of their names on all papers. On consecutive days, independent of one another, both my wife and I teased my daughter about having changed her name to "22". She--being highly emotional--got angry at me for this. I then showed her a youtube clip of Drexler highlights, explaining to her who he was in Blazer history and in relation/comparison to Michael Jordan (she's seen Space Jam about 100 times). I then had her look to see what his jersey number was. She now wants to be called "Glide".
