Randy Moss not re-elected as team captain

So we only feel it fair to note that an interesting change in captaincy took place in New England. The Patriots players elected four captains on Friday: Tom Brady, running back Kevin Faulk, defensive tackle Vince Wilfork, and linebacker Jerod Mayo.

Conspicuous by his absence was Randy Moss, who was a captain the last two years.

Maybe it means nothing. Maybe it means Moss just hasn't connected with the onslaught of new teammates. Maybe Moss' feeling that he's unwanted has manifested itself in other ways. For whatever reason, something changed in the player voting this year.

Do you think this means its Moss's last season in New England?

 

No. i think the players are sick of his whining, though.

 

I heard he's at odds with him teammates.

 

On ESPN they read a quote saying that he doesn't feel wanted.
