Tim Bogar was named Texas Rangers bench coach on Monday, replacing Jackie Moore, whose contract was not renewed shortly after the season. Bogar will also be the club's infield instructor. Bogar, who turns 47 next week, was a big league coach in Boston and Tampa Bay over a five-year span, including as bench coach for the Red Sox in 2012.
