Just remember when canucks try to clear stand on the sideboards, In shorthanded situations just sit back and watch the 3 canucks standing behind the net while the other 2 are at the center line getting ready to go back and block shots on defense. On offense just have the points ready to just sit back and fire, fire, and fire away. So glad we don't have to watch that shit anymore:clap::clap::cheers::cheers:cheers:

I wouldn't be surprised to see Pouliot on the first line to open the season, he's got enough offensive ability to handle it. Kreider may not be ready for it yet, he just dosen't generate enough shots and seems to just be out there skating fast but not doing much.

No issue with that. Pouliot has a ton of talent also. Maybe they hit it with gambling on him.

The defensemen are asleep tonight, a million rebounds everywhere.

These guys are too slow making decisions as usual on the PP. Hopefully Arniel can work some magic with it.

Al please...one of the reasons Tortorella hockey doesnt work anymore in today[s NHL is that the players have no legs playing that way after a whole season. By the time the regular season crunch time/playoffs start, the team is fried. Happens even earlier if the guys have been doing it several years in a row. To judge it on a handful of games, and PRESEASON games at that, is pointless.

You all missing the point....point is having a duo like the sedin twins sure makes a coach look offensively good.

Al probably has a Torts bobble head doll he puts on his night stand and waves goodnight to every night. The infatuation with him is nothing but strange.

Man, just get Brass and BP a RW, and they're set...When all are healthy (God willing...), maybe see something like:

    Hagelin Stepan Nash
Pouliot Brassard Callahan (could be an awesome line)
    Pyatt Richards MZA
    Boyle Moore Dorsett

(I honestly don't know how we move on without making a trade or 2... I'm totally discounting Powe and Asham...and Kreider...and Lindberg...and Miller...and Fast...)

I think that's the lineup we settle on... Not saying it's my lineup or the best lineup, but I see AV going with that. In the end, I think we send all these kids (Kreider/ Lindberg/Miller/Fast) down...Believe me, I 'd dump Pyatt and Boyle and Richie, but do you really think a new coach is going to do that?

Without Kreider on the team actually scoring goals this team is really short on scoring. I know its just preseason. I know we are missing Hags and Cally and Stepan hasnt played but this team doesnt look good.

We are short a scoring forward and still have no Dman who can really make our PP better

but Kreider has never scored anyways, so he's not a given either.

True but I think its clear for them to take the next step they needed another 25 goal guy. I was hoping it would be Kreider. It appears it wont be. Who else will it be?

I think given the right players around him Pouliot could break 20.
