You know McDonagh is lost when McIlrath is looking better.

It's sad but you know it's really starting to look like McDonagh just dosen't have all-star ability like we thought.

Of course, there's the Ranger special delay of game penalty with under 5 to go.

Good win on the road. That avs team has some skilled offensive players.

It is funny, even if Oscar L scored 10 goals in one month, NHL would name MacDavid or Eichel rookie of the month...LOL

Kreider should watch tape of Lindberg to see how unbelievably stupid he is.

I'll say it again. Stop letting Hayes take faceoffs. He freakin sucks. Let Lindberg take the draws. On a side note, Brassard is winning 58% of his draws this year. Saw improvement last year. Didn't think he would be at that percentage. That's a huge plus for the team if he can end up at 54% for the year.

I was pleasantly surprised by McIlrath last night, as he played pretty well. McDonagh and Staal on the other hand. McDonagh had a few assists, but only because his shot which missed by 131 ft rebounded back into play to DB who fed Stepan. Staal looks like a guy who'd rather be rooming in Raleigh with his siblings.

Rangers in the off-season might very well try to move Staal to Carolina if he agrees, sign Yandle and replace Staal with Skjei. McIrlath needs to play every day. You can't expect the kid to settle down if he doesn't play. Honestly, Girardi and Boyle should sit games to get him in there. I've said for years the team needs what this kid brings. He'll be a solid, non-flashy guy on the backline for years.

I was high on Etem after the trade. Then when I checked his twitter account I realized he was a moron with little dedication to hockey. Much like Nieves.

Honestly, the Sabres have a crap load of third round picks next year. Their forwards basically suck talent wise. If I could get them to part with a couple of third round picks for Etem, I'd do it. Odds are 3rd rounders don't pan out that often. Safety in numbers. I think the Sabres would roll the dice on Etem. Has the talent. Desire and brains is another story. Worth a risk for the Sabres. From the Rangers point of view, The extra man is either Stoll, D. Moore or Fast. All who are better in their role than Etem would be. Let's face it, with Lindberg, we don't need Etem to replace Hagelin's offense. Lindberg already has done that times 5.

I dont think Etem fits in NY. The guy looks like he is a party animal and lazy. Buffalo would be a better fit for his hockey career where there are not as much distractions.

Another good game for big mac. AV's acknowledgement of same and giving him some pk time has to be getting into boyles head. Like when the kid hits somebody stopping them dead in their tracks and taking the puck away. Also notice that anyone he hits never goes back at him just slink away. Can't believe how bad staal is looking to the point I'm wondering if he has some kind of injury.

We've seen this before with Staal. I can remember a couple of seasons where he sucked the first 20-25 games then was unbelievable.

Every great once in a while I like to drop over at Hoopla to see if morons like NJcup, Devilshwon, Steal at DDD are still as retarded as they were. Yep, they are. Remember how I told those dumbass Devils fans Lou was senile and stupid the past 8 years and drafted like garbage. Eight years later, they finally got it. Now, their stupidity has returned into actually thinking the team is good. Oh boy...... I remember hearing about all their great defenseman prospects. So far, they basically all suck. Larsson finally woke up. Other than him, they are garbage.

Stealth, that moron wanted to traded Lundqvist and keep Talbot. Enough said for the rest of this decade on that dumbass.

Personally I think we are so spoiled by how good our D has been for years that every little mistake made by Staal and Girardi especially we go over the top about. We are VERY lucky to have the top 4 dmen we have. We are VERY lucky to have a 5th dman like Yandle.

Klein may be one of the most underrated dmen in the NHL (2nd in the NHL in +/- for what that's worth). McD may not be scoring, but he is a true top dman IMO. And while Staal and G haven't had their best starts ever, they are still very solid top 4 dmen.

We are top 5 in GAA every season, and our D deserves credit for that...it isn't all Hank.

I think we should be very happy and thankful for the D we have. If we could actually score some goals in the playoffs we'd have 1 or 2 cups over the past few seasons IMO.

Agree 100%. Most of 0ur fan base is so f'n stupid and spoiled all they do is bitch about every turnover the defenseman have. So other fan bases think people like Girardi and Staal suck when this team is always in the top 5 defensively and it's not just Hank. Look at the other rejects teams use on defense. They suck compared to Staal and Girardi. You are right. If the morons up front could ever score in the post season, Hank would have 2 to 4 cups by now.

I was just looking at all the moron teams rushing 18 and 19 year old prospects wh0 aren't ready this year. That is why they suck year after year. Rangers made a rare move bringing Duclair up and sent him back. Look at Lindberg and McIlrath. Brought them up at 22-23. Detroit does the same. Larkin was a rare exception for them. Skjei could play right now. They won't rush him. No need. No, sometimes they are too patient. McIlrath should have played last year. Maybe Lindberg some instead of Glass. However, you can't argue with the results.
