In recent home games, Columbus team has handed some insulting losses to winning hockey teams. Let's hope Rangers can give Blue Jackets a run for their money. This game should be a good one.
Let's see what new ways Dubinsky comes up with to be a jerkoff. Kreider returns, Henrik between the pipes. Let's sweep this road trip and come back to the garden with a win streak going.
Well that was an awful giveaway and a bad goal. This game is about as entertaining as watching paint dry this far. This is beyond a slow paced, broken game for the Rangers. Way too many stretch passes going for icings and a lot of giveaways it seems like. Rangers seem very very flat right now.
Rangers down 2-0 in the second period......with little offensive push. Tortorella has his club playing "his" defense first game. Boy, would I like to take that smirk off of Totsy Tort's face!
Strange. Rangers down 2-1 late second. All three goals came off a turnover. And each goal scored was unassisted. Not much play making in this game. If the game opens up, which I doubt, especially from BJs, Rangers can break through. This game is like a scrum..........little or no movement going on.
Rangers come all the way back and now 2-2 on a nice goal by zig off a great feed by brady. Rangers on a pp now
I'm not surprised by tonight's game after the trip to Canada. Columbus has been hot at home and playing well. The Rangers looked sluggish and sloppy. Hank would certainly like at least one of those goals back.
Mess, I think Hank would like all 3 of those goals back. Made some good stops but those goals he allowed were very saveable imo. Oh well, can't win them all. Start another streak on sunday
They did, after they came back from down 2 to tie it. Tough pass from Miller back to the point got deflected leading to an odd man rush, but I put that more on Pirri who appeared completely stunned that Columbus actually defended the pass and allowed the odd man rush to continue unimpeded. Miller didn't see the ice the rest of the game which I disagree with. Always tough to lose to a divisional rival especially when said rival is coached by Torts, but 3-1 on a long 4 game road trip that included a week in western Canada is just fine. I expect a bounce back performance against the Panthers Sunday.
Probably didn't deserve a point anyway but you can't let up a sh goal there. Lundqvist was not all that sharp especially the 1st.
All 3? He had very little chance on the second and third. Fast with a perfect pass to all alone Gagner in the slot and it was impressive Henrik was even able to get a piece. The third was a perfect shot on an odd man rush that no goalie in the league saves. He's highly paid but he's not superman.
Coming back from two down it would be nice to at least walk away with a point, but losing on a shortie makes it a lot harder to swallow.
Yeah, and you almost wish it stays 5/5 late as they tend to let that happen. Like you said though 3/4 is a solid trip.
There's no doubt imo that Skjei is already our best dman. McDonagh just dosen't do enough offensively.
AV has been much tougher holding his players accountable this year. Thank God. Kreider, Vesey and then Miller last night.
