He does not blow at all. The hyperbole is getting very tiresome. But he certainly does not belong on the top pair playing his off side. That's on the coach not putting his players in a position to succeed.
I don't take the first 10-15 games too serious but so far I like our speed, and offensive skill a lot, disappointed with lack of finishing ability at times (which has been an ongoing issue for years with this team), very disappointed with the blue line presence (or lack thereof), and slightly concerned that we have a team built on speed but no real grit, and as the season progresses speed slows down but grit seems to linger on. Too early yet though to get to high or too low on the team, but just a few observations so far. I am definitely happier with this team then last years that's for sure. Also, how many scrub goalies this team can make look like Roy is astounding lol.
I specifically asked you why he sucks and you pointed to one play. Now you can point to two. I still disagree with your assessment and so does Patrick Roy if you read today's Post.
I think Patrick Roy is a reliable source on hockey and on a player's ability, who resigned after butting heads with the front office on personnel decisions, but if you disagree on that too that's fine.
I dont need Patrick Roy to tell me that Holden is a good d-men. I've seen enough of this guy and can say that he sucks ass and shouldnt be playing over McI.
Really bad start against a team that got embarrassed last night by the Wild. This team is such an enigma. They seem to pick and choose when to play well and crap the bed. And as I said earlier, this team can't help themselves but to make scrub goalies look like Vezina winners.
You can see Klein is not quite the same player since the injuries over the last few years. Probably some age regression too.
I didnt say you need him to tell you he's good, I just pointed out an opposing point of view for discussion purposes. But that is proving useless as you have seen enough, which includes one game at his normal position, and have rendered your final judgment. I wont make the mistake of trying to engage you in discussion on this anymore.
Against Boston you need wall presence and as I said, this team lacks grit. Can't beat Boston unless you are willing to get your nose dirty and play on the boards. This team is too small and relies on speed to win, which is great and fun to watch, but when playing physical teams it shows the softness of the team. Hard to find the right mix though when AV wants speed but forgets you do need grit in a long playoff run.
