Like the offensive pressure so far. Buch looks VERY good.

Glad to see Holden off top pair but Girardi not having a good game.

On the cane goal Hayes you are the biggest guy on the ice go to the fucking net and stop with the dipsy do crap. That whole rush started when he tried to hit a spin move and busted his ass.

Skinner made Klein look absolutely foolish on the goal, he lost his man not once but twice.

Our older dmen are just so slow moving the puck. Klein is really starting to show signs of de-kleining.

Klein beaten badly but Henrik needs to stop that one. There wasn't much on that shot. First one ok, but that one Hank has to get.

God forbid he will allow less than two goals these days. One softie is guaranteed at least a game.

Can this team ever NOT let up at the end of a period. I swear to god, they have to be the WORST team in the league the past 2 seasons with goals allowed in the final minutes of a period.

Maybe the worst defensive corps in the league.

Carolina played a heck of a third period. Have to give them credit. They locked things down and held their lead.

The better team won tonight. Rangers did not look great tonight. Their other losses they outplayed their opponents. Tonight, Carolina deserved the win. Rangers looked sloppy and slow tonight and once again couldn't win a board battle to save their lives, especially in those last few minutes. Oh well. Bound to have a stinker and this was it.

Girardi-Holden with one of the most embarrassing shifts from a defensive pair I've ever seen at the end there. Yikes. They looked like little kids out there chasing around the older guys playing keep away. Girardi was in no mans land and had no idea where to go. Holden couldn't keep the puck on his stick.

The offensive cohesion collapsed about halfway through the second and they didn't get it back. Followed by probably the worst offensive period they have played all year in the third.

We need a right side D in the worst, worst, worst way.

Positives: Zucc shooting, Buchnevich looking comfortable, ZBad noticeable, Staal looking much much better than last year.

Yup, Carolina played a strong game in their opener and deserved the victory.

Girardi and Holden on the ice with 1 minute and 20 seconds left. This coach is something else.

This pretty much sums it up. The offense was due for a let down. Although the defense being unable to win back possession for most of the third certainly didn't help.

Klein got completely outworked for two goals against by Skinner and people are whipping Girardi and Holden. Does anyone actually watch the game? If you're going to get on somebody Klein was awful tonight.
