Expecting the Rangers to open it up in the 2nd, and turn into the offensive power we've been wating to see ... lol

It's a backup goalie with only a handful of starts. If history is any indication, we'll be lucky to get even 1

Incredible how many quality chances this team lets up. Not to mention how unfreakinbelievablybad Pyatt is game after game and the moron still plays.

This team just cannot finish. There is no fire in the building. I just have a very bad feeling right now. I admit I am getting concerned we could be hitting a very bad stretch here.

That NJ L was a real crusher I fear. Add in losing Staal. Not being able to finish at all. I am very concerned.

We now have lost the 1st two games on the 9 game homestand to NJ, who were playing awful hockey, and the Caps, who are bad on the road.

We could be starting down a really bad road. This team is looking very shaky, and like dump said, our D looks TERRIBLE right now on paper and on ice. McDonagh is a stud. Stralman is solid. The rest stink.

And AGAIN we simply cannot finish. Count me as VERY concerned.

When the defense gets better, the offense will get better. And not until ...

This team is lost and Lundy hasn't been sharp for a majority of the season.

    So never I guess...:).

Amazing how one goal changed everything. We were really hitting our stride I thought and ready to take off, and then that Janssen goal happens, and we have been outscored 5-1 since.

I saw enough last night to think this team is going nowhere this year unless Sather surprises us and actually does something very impactful on the roster

    The team is bad

    CANNOT FINISH...LOL.

A lot of pleas for Sather to do something in here. Too bad he doesn't actually do anything. All will fall on deaf ears.

BTW, I know Gaborik and Torts hated each other but revisiting that Gaborik trade its looking now like Gaborik for Dorsett...a useful undersized 4th liner

    Brassard and Moore look terrible

I'll say something, and this is hindsight by me I admit, but this is a very poorly constructed team yet again by Mr. Sather. We have no size or bang on our 4th line. We have no size or bang upfront outside of Nash and Kreider really. And most importantly we have no physical pounding size on D. We don't have any real big guys with skill that can be physical and clear the net. A very small team.

And it isn't like we are overly skilled or fast either to make up for it. Add in a handful of totally useless guys that all pretty much play in Boyle, Pyatt, Moore, Dorsett, and I guess Pouliot also. Maybe one of those guys should play. Tops two if one is Pouliot. But at times all play, and always 3. Not good. Very poorly constructed team with a lot of holes.

    Nice PP...LOL.

Another unknown goalie looking all world against us. Either we have the worst luck, or we simply cannot finish ever. I know which way I go.

Huge downer is all I can say. To me personally J. Moore and Pouliot have been the biggest letdowns. I thought both would play well. Moore with a chance to be a 2nd pair dman. And Pouliot as a solid 3rd line winger who could score 12-15 goals. Boy was I wrong on both.

    Oh well...

The biggest problem is the entire team outside of Kreider, Talbot and Zuc have underachieved. Nobody else has played really well

I agree though they are well positioned to really change the team next year

Cap going up. Richards (who has been ok, not great, but not worth his cap) will be gone. The useless 4th liners will be gone.

Should have a lot of cap space. Maybe Sather will retire (dreaming)

Agreed. Surprising. I may add McDonagh to the list of guys that have played well, he has been excellent after the first couple of games, but I agree. Just a big letdown.

Also shows how fragile this team is. Since that Janssen goal this team has fallen apart. That's all it took???

Right, that is exactly what I have been saying dis. We have a very rare opportunity in a cap league this summer. We have legit shot at a minor re-build, and a chance to finish off this team right. Issue is I don't have any real faith in Sather to get it done correctly sadly.
