Rangers getting dominated but in the way hockey works Johnson scores from the blue line for rangers 1-0 lead. I hope Sam retires after this year as he seems to be missing players names and what’s going on more and more often.

M I think Sam is fine he has the occasional hiccup he still better than shit out there. That’s why Kreider pisses me off. He threw a big hit caused a turn over and they score he just doesn’t do that enough

Part of the issue with Sam is they are not in the arena for the away games.

Exactly on Sam and Joe. They are watching on a big screen TV from NY just like us. This is reality in the Covid world.

I thought that was a pretty crappy period. Lucky to be tied 1-1. Hopefully they step their game up.

Miller is hitting the rookie wall a little.

I'll say one thing Miller needs to work on, he gets beat wide a lot. Sometimes his long reach makes up for it, and sometimes not. Either way even if his reach makes up for it, that's not the fundamentally sound way to play, and he needs to improve that aspect of his game.

And before anyone jumps on it, I am not even knocking Miller or bothered by this as he's been great overall, and a godsend, and of course he has some stuff to work on at his young inexperienced age. So not even stating it as a negative, just saying he needs to work on it because it appears to be his one big struggle early in his career.

I think he's at the point where teams have a book on him now, go wide IMO, and he needs to adjust. He needs to be more fundamentally sound and not rely just on physcial skills and reach to make up for things. All part of growing and learning for a young player. That's my take.

The other thing Miller needs to do more of is hitting people. He is not small at 6’5” and 200 plus lbs. needs to start using his size more and take these guys out of plays

Very exciting finish, with many chances, but Buch has to finish that. Lift the darn puck man, come on. Great save my butt...LIFT THE PUCK.

I have not been more disappointed then I am right now in a few years. I really was hopeful they could make a statement in these two games, instead their season is now pretty much over. Finishing 6th and onto next season. What a damn shame.

5 of these 6 periods showed the Rangers are simply not ready to take the next step and win yet.
