Rangers sure are giddy over trading for Kristo

    They keep praising themselves like this was a great steal. Even I'm getting excited over this kid now. You usually don't seem them act like this towards prospects.

    one can only hope that the excitement meets the same reality as when they traded for Mac

    They seem to think they made that kind of move. If that trades turns out to be half as good as the McDonagh deal, it's a HR.

    Wonder why MTL wanted to trade him so quickly since he just signed and has good upside?

    I was listening to WFAN the other day and one of the guests they had was raving about the Kristo deal.

    Obviously i know nothing about him so will have to see how he performs, but we're so clogged up with 3rd and 4th liners (depth, lol) that there's simply no room for him on the roster at the moment.

    Also will be interesting to see what Thomas becomes, though he's 2yrs younger than Kristo.
