The fact that Girardi is playing again shows me they aren't sure if he can play any longer. Guys who are locks to make the team aren't playing all these games in the pre-season. If he stinks up the joint, I would not be shocked to see him sent to the minors to start the season.

Dump, with that friggin nmc he has I don't think they can send him down. Unless gorton pulls a miracle deal or he gets hurt girardi is probably gonna be here unfortunately in some capacity.

I like kreids with the A tonight. If McD ever gets moved he could be our next captain.

Hopefully Girardi does bounce back. It would be a major plus for the Rangers. I don't see what would be so unfortunate about it.

Gropp looks a lot closer to nhl material than I thought and pretty fast on his skates.

Since Buek is a rookie coach he would want to do a great job and won't play favorites. I think dump is right, Girardi may not be on this team full time.

Watched Girardi closely tonight. He was awful. He was responsible for both the first two goals. Guy can't block a shot any longer without acting like he got run over by an 18 wheeler. He should retire but he won't because of the money. Skjei needs to think faster. The ability is there but he needs more experience. I continue to be amazed why so many people in our dumb fan base want to get rid of Fast. He's a wonderful role player. I agree, Gropp showed a lot more than at Traverse. Wouldn't expect much offense out of Vesey in year one. Maybe 30 points. It will take him a year to figure the NHL out. He's a thinking player. You can see that. I think there is a very good chance Girardi is sent to the minors, Clendening and Holden split time. Depending on how much AV values the PP that game.
