Very simple, rate the Wizards players on a scale on how important you think they'll be to the team this year. Give reasonings if you'd like to.

    1 - Gilbert Arenas
    2 - Caron Butler
    3 - Antawn Jamison
    4 - Darius Songaila
    5 - Antonio Daniels
    6 - DeShawn Stevenson
    7 - Brenden Haywood
    8 - Andray Blatche
    9 - Jarvis Hayes
    10 - Etan Thomas
    11 - Michael Ruffin
    12 - Donell Taylor
    13 - Calvin Booth
    14 - Billy Thomas
    15 - Peter Ramos

I think that Caron Butler is going to be more important than Jamison this year for one reason, he'll help us win more. Last year when we inserted Caron into the starting lineup, our team finally stopped struggling. He should give us about 20 PPG, and he can rebound the ball. If he can find the defense he played with when he first came into the league, he'll be our number two option for sure, I think.

As for Jamison, I'm not big on the guy, but he is capable of giving us 20 and 10 any given night. I think his role will be about the same, score and rebound. If he could only improve his defense.

With Jeffries leaving, I think that puts more PT in the hands of Andray Blatche. He should be Caron's #1 backup. He's tall and lengthy just like Jeffries, but his offensive game is loaded with potential.

This year could be awesome for the Wizards. The additions of Songailia and Stevenson should help the team out a lot.

Yeah, exactly as your list Matt. Songaila is going to be important in our offense down-low and I really think he has a chance to shine.

Antonio Daniels is more important than Songaila because he's our only backup PG, and if he goes down we get screwed at PG, and Arenas will have to play heavier minutes. We have some guys that can "handle" the PG spot, but we need more than just ability to handle it.

Next Haywood is more important then Stevenson because he's our main big man. If Haywood goes down, the team is in FAR more trouble than if we lose Stevenson. Similarly with Songaila, Haywood is our main guy that can guard those big C's, and our main shot blocker. Etan can block shots and rebound better, but Haywood is a better defender since Etan is undersized. Also his health is always a question.

Blatche being low is because I'm not yet sold on how much he can impact the team. I'm sold on his ability and talent, but I'm not sold on how he will be able to help the team. You could even argue Etan over him if Etan can stay healthy.

Jarvis Hayes can help the team a lot with his shooting and scoring ability, and if he can stay healthy and improve, he could possibly be over Deshawn.

I'll go with Black Mamba. Got to list the three money men, Arenas, Butler and Jamison. Then the team needed badly a 3 or 4 who was very well coached in the United States in the ACC, was all-ACC, learned in Sacremento, earned in Chicago, starred in the 2004 Olympics: Darius Songaila. Fans will appreciate his overall game. I love his passing and post moves and fearlessness. The 4th man needed to be guarded when he stepped out for a jumper so Arenas has room to operate or hit Arenas etc. with a pass cutting to the rim. I love the pick-up and so will Bullets' (er, Wizards') fans. I think Blaytche is not completely ready but can crack the lineup with the potential that got him this far in the first place. Haywood is an enigma who needs to embrace his teammates before he can earn more burn, and Antonio Daniels with a focused and disciplined attitude can and should be an important role player that helps the Wiz separate itself in the East.
