Rappers such as p-diddy,jay-z,fat joe have long had interests/teams in the EBC tournament at 155th but with the introduction of L.A Rapper THE GAME and his BLACK team, the lustre and underground allure of the tournament seems to be waining. Anyone who has seen THE GAME play will realise that he does`nt deserve to tie BONE COLLECTOR`S sneakers for him let alone ball against him.More and more nba stars are being drafted in for the important games and the tournament finale is in danger of becoming an nba all star game. Fat Joe has always had STARBURY and certain occasional nba guests,but with this GAME character putting himself on the court, running B-DIDDY,GILB ARENA`S,ANDRE MILLER,TYSON CHANDLER together! etc he is making a mockery of the tournament and devaluing what is supposed to be a celebration of the best streetballers,not which music guy can get the most stars to run with him! TERROR SQUAD coach and Rucker Park Legend MOUSEY has just started his own youth tournament at 145th and has made very disparaging remarks concerning the future of the rucker tournament and the likelihood of a splinter underground tournament becoming the new home of streetball ANY THOUGHTS??
From what I hear, the Game could play pretty well, but nobody can ball vs. Bone Collector, he'll take anyone. We need Obese Joe to get in the games, that's good tv.
