I would love a raps cavs first round. This is me being shallow but lebron first round means more nationally televised games in the states. Raps and ACC could use the exposure. Yeah I am aware there is no ball knowledge involved in this post at all but the publicity and electricity first round would absolutely be wild.

plus i love Kevin Harlan. hopefully he calls some of the raps games. with lebron thats guaranteed.

I tend to agree. But from a matchup standpoint. The Bulls have better execution, and stronger defense. Lebron can be selfish, and it can get the Cavs into some trouble ie: Thursday nights gave vs Miami.

If I had to pick between Cleveland or Chicago, I'd pick Cleveland to play. Also don't forget that our win in Chicago earlier in the season was our first win against the Bulls in about 18 games prior to that. We struggle against Chicago.

But there is a possibility that the Raps will hang onto the 3rd spot and play either Washington or Jersey. It's not likely, but it is possible.

I dont know, it'd be nice to meet Vince in the first round but IMO Jersey couldn't make the series interesting. It'd be done in 5 games

You can't really put that on the guys on the team right now thoughh. This is a totally different team. The team this year against Chicago is 1-2 - lost by 3, lost by 10, won by 1.

But yeah, I don't really like the matchup either [IMG]

If you're talking about exposure, a NJ-Toronto series would bring all sorts of attention. It'd probably be one of the more interesting series' of the first round. That'd probably be my 2nd choice, after a Washington matchup. I'm not sure how we'd do against them because they got so much more experience, but it'd be awesome to watch.

Washington or Cleveland would be good, but Miami or Chicago would be very tough to beat in a 7 game series.

I really hope it's not NJ, the last thing this franchise needs is more Vince Carter stories. From a matchup perspective it works quite well but i just hate the type of press it's going to generate. Carter's gone, we should let this one rest. Booing him was fun at first but eventually it became a bunch of puck head losers jeering him at the game (even while the raptors were shooting free throws).

I'd want a matchup that puts the focus on the raptors and how well they've done this year, not keep the VC crap going forever.

I agree, we need to get past this whole VC thing. I don't want it brought up over and over every time I watch the Raps in a playoff game.

Us getting into the playoffs should be a new beginning. Leave all that other stuff in the past. I don't really care if we don't get the American media attention. Winning will take care of that eventually.

I don't want anything to do with LeBron in the playoffs. He beat Washington and took Detroit to 7 almost single-handedly last year. The Cavs also have some playoff experience whereas the Bulls are still relatively young.
