Projected Starters Pg: Jack sg: derozan sf: hedo pf: bosh c: Bargs Heat pg: chalmers sg: wade sf: q.rich pf: beasley c: J.O. key reserves: haslem, joel anthony, james jones games notes: the heat had one of those highly publicized, much to do about nothing team meetings. apparently wade didnt speak and JO orchestrated the entire thing. wonder how they react coming off that. in their last meeting- q. rich and haslem didnt play so expect a much better performance this time around prediction: raps win 100-94 and the game thread girls...miami heat dancers
notes.. -dwade is getting every superstar call imaginable -JO is controlling the game defensively with lane intimidation (e.g. shot blocking) -jack and bosh have no chemistry offensively, strange since they played together in college -derozan cant finish over most guys- JO got him a few times and even beasley, a very undersized 4 got him clean as well
or we just suck. good teams are consistent and bad teams oscillate between good games and terrible ones. i thought the difference tonight was that we couldnt contain their dribble penetration and beasley outplayed bargnani.
the highlights guy said bosh had 11 points in the first 3 minutes of the third. What happened after that? did they just stop giving it to him?
a little bit of that but the heat were scoring at will on the other end and the raps looked started to unravel after that. bosh's run actually dropped the deficit to 5 and bargnani missed a wide open three to cut it even more- so the heat never looked back after that juncture.
