"We got a steal, I was late getting back and I had a little opening," Bosh said of his highlight of the evening. "I don't know what I was thinking but I'm glad I pulled it off. If I'd have missed ... it would have been pretty embarrassing." </div>

After the 22-year-old player was informed that the singer's name was Newton, not Jones, Bosh was asked if he'd ever heard of Wayne Newton?

"I have now," he said, laughing.</div>

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Chris Bosh of the Raptors kept a decidedly lower profile than some of his fellow luminaries when it came to commercial opportunities at the NBA all-star weekend. And basketball mimicked business at last night's 56th All-Star Game. Bosh, though he was voted a starter by the fans, didn't see much of the ball. He didn't score his first bucket, an uncontested layup, until the third quarter was nearly a couple of minutes old. </div>

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"I got plenty of sleep, off and on," Bosh said. "I didn't get much at night, but I got a couple minutes naps. [We have] a nice, late practice [today with the Raptors], so I'll catch up on my sleep."</div>

    <font size=""4"">NBA ALL-STAR GAME REPORT</font>

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Last year Chris Bosh showed up for his first All-Star Game as a player wide-eyed and a bit intimidated by the entire scene.

This time, after being voted in as a starter, the former Georgia Tech star is just enjoying the moment. He's conscious that as his profile has been raised, the pressure to maintain his position has also increased dramatically.

"I'm pretty comfortable in my situation," said Bosh, who is at the center of the Toronto Raptors' turnaround this season. "I always know it's a challenge. I always know it's going to be pretty difficult, but that's what it's about. It's what I expected when I came into the league. Just to be in my position, I'm proud of it, and I have to make sure I put in the work necessary to keep it up."</div>
