<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"You know me, I'm just trying to make a statement. Let people know I don't get in slumps," Bosh said of his penchant for rebounding from a bad game. "I may have a slump for a game, but I try not to make it two games. My focus is a little bit more intense. I just don't like having two back-to-back bad games." </div>

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"You have to settle down, especially after they go on a run, you have to keep your composure," Ford said. "Just continue to believe in the pass and making the right plays. That pretty much goes for everybody. We just have to stick to the game plan and we'll be better off. When they went on a run, we pressed a little I think." </div>

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Parker wasn't sure how serious the injury was yesterday as he stopped on his way to the appointment to talk with the Toronto media.

"I don't know, we're going to wait and see," Parker said. "It's still within the first 24 hours. We're just going to keep an open mind and treat it but I don't have any specific time frame right now. I've rolled it a couple of times this year already and this is a little bit more severe than those other times, but we'll just have to see." </div>

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"It will either be Mo (Peterson) or Juan (Dixon) and the only reason I'm even considering Juan is our bench has been pretty good the way it is," Mitchell said. "Right now Andrea (Bargnani) and Mo and those guys play well together. But then I like Mo being a couple of inches taller (than Dixon) defending (Tracy) McGrady. But I really just haven't decided." </div>

Dikembe Mutombo's still one of the best shot blockers in the league, which will make it tough for T.J. Ford and Jose Calderon to get to the rim; look for Ford to try a 10-foot pull-up jumper if he gets in the lane.</div>

    <font size=""4"">Bosh vows comeback</font>

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"We're trying not to lose two games in a row and I just try to make a statement, let people know I don't get in slumps," said Bosh, who was held to 14 points on 6-for-16 shooting from the field as the Spurs spanked the Raptors 107-91 Monday night.

"I have a slump for a game but I try not to make it two games. I try to be aggressive, my focus is a little bit more intense; I just don't like having two back-to-back bad games."</div>

The more I think about it, the more I think we're going to be forced to sign Mitchell to a two year contract (I'd prefer a one-year contract, but I doubt he'd sign that). I'm convinced that he's not the head coach for us in the future, but its become an issue of chemistry and the fact that there aren't any bonafide head coaches out there to take his job. I'm just hoping he exposes himself a little in the playoffs, so we don't feel obligated to reward him for the work the players have done.

You never know what might happen. My hope if that a team like the Bobcats does us a favor and steals our coach. Mitchell is free to sign wherever he wants at the end of the year, he'd probably still have more job security working for another team than the raptors.

Job security? U talking about being a head coach in the NBA.. lol.. There might be like 3 to 4 coaches in the NBA that has a good job security. Yeah, Mitchell can still get paid by the team.. but he won't be coaching for them if he gets fired.

lol, yes i see where you're coming from. I just think that being Sam Mitchell in a developmental situation probably means lower expectations than coaching the raptors next season. It might mean a more long-term contract and commitment from another team.
