    <font size=""4"">Forget about awful weekend, Mitchell advises</font>

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Mitchell suggested he and his coaches might add a new wrinkle or two to their schemes, but he wasn't stuck on the idea.

Two of his more veteran players, Morris Peterson and Chris Bosh, said the idea of adding something new appealed to them.

"That might help," Peterson said. "At this point in the season, teams know what you do. This is when teams start making their push so they've definitely been watching us so I think it would be good to tweak things a little bit, keep other teams guessing."</div>

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Bosh said the Cavaliers were playing off him a good portion of the night giving him a lot of open looks. He was taking the shots and when a lot weren't finding the mark he got a little gun shy and starting passing off to teammates who weren't quite as open.

"I passed up a couple of shots and my teammates got on me saying keep shooting," Bosh said. "I'm going to listen to them." </div>

<font size=""4"">Raptors' point guard duo odd but effective couple</font>

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">But why does it work? Why don't each of them demand more playing time and more responsibility? Why does Calderon insist in every conversation that team play is all that matters? Why did Ford go to coach Sam Mitchell when he came back from an injury and insist Calderon keep his starting job until Ford was fully healthy?

"No egos," Ford says. "Definitely it could be a tough situation. I've been in a situation where guys were playing well and both guys have wanted to play the majority of the game. I think we do a good job of complimenting each other, we believe in each other and we're not competing against each other.</div>

    <font size=""4"">Mitchell trying to give sluggish Raps late-season change</font>

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Whatever Mitchell and his staff come up with won't be extensive, nor will it be entirely unfamiliar.

"We'll pull out some of our stuff from last year and just look at it," he said. "We may decide after sitting in there for an hour that we don't need to (make a change).

"Obviously, it's not going to be anything major this deep into the season. We'd be fools to change everything we've done where we're four games above .500 and leading our division."

Still, a little rejuvenation never hurt, nor did minor changes that might throw opponents off for a quarter or two. At this point in the season, everyone knows what everyone else runs at both ends of the court. Tossing in a couple of new wrinkles might lead to three or four baskets a game, the difference between winning and losing.</div>

    <font size=""4"">SLAP!</font>

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Yes, slap. That was the sound of the Raptors being brought back to reality. That?s the sound when the opposition is ready to play and you?re not. That?s the sound of Hump playing defense (sorry Hump, you?ve been surprisingly good lately, but I?ve gotta take my cuts where I can get?em).

If you thought it couldn?t get uglier than last night, well, the Raptors met your challenge. They shot a miserable 38.7 from the field. I mean, that?s a stat where you have to double check the box score to make sure you?re looking at the right stat. They also shot 28.6% from 3, but at least tonight they managed to keep it to 14 attempts.</div>
