On the other hand, it's a home game and we are looking to tie the season series with the Raptors and stay in line to finish with a better record then them as well. LeBron James has been playing unreal his last 5 games, check these numbers out. 28.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 8.0 assists <font color="Red">Jeff McInnis is playing</font> so let's keep an eye on him to see exactly how much he has healed. McInnis back at the point for Cavs McInnis back at the point for Cavs <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Cavaliers' hopes of making the postseason will receive a big lift today when point guard Jeff McInnis returns to action after spending time on the injured list. The Cavs have fallen hard since McInnis bruised his right shoulder when he ran into Chicago's Eddy Curry on March 16. Since the injury, the Cavs have lost eight of nine and four in a row. The Cavs are 2? games behind the Boston Celtics, who are in the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. The Cavs have six games left; two of those are at playoff-bound Memphis and Miami. The Cavs' final road game is at New York. The Celtics, who slipped at Washington on Sunday, play at Miami, New Orleans and Atlanta this week. The Celtics end the regular season at home against Miami and Atlanta. The Cavs have a slim chance, but the return of McInnis helps. "This is it," coach Paul Silas said. "We're hanging by a thread, but we're still hanging. We'll try to win as many as we can and we're going to need some help."</div> Full story
Cavs are giving up 7 in this one, if I was a betting man I would take the Raptors and those 7 helpers. I am glad Jeff is back.
Now, this game as many we previously had is a very winnable one. Raps are huge slump but they want to break that 7 game slide. Same goes with Cleveland with JMac back it will be interesting to see if the game definatly is based on him. Toss up.
Jalen Rose has been on fire for us, so he'll probably score 20 shooting about 50%, he's also reduced his turnovers and has been playing pretty well. His defense is still bad though. Carter has had about 8 good games to 2 bad games, so expect something big from him. He could score well into the 30's with about 6-8 rebounds and assists, the rest of the Raptors but Bosh haven't really been around so not much to worry aobut their. Cleveland needs to get the ball to Z, and with McInnis back that should happen a lot, and in the right places. McInnis should take advantage of Rose and Cleveland should exploit the Raptors inside and on the boards with their big men. Lebron could hae a big game too, who knows, and Boozer will probably like this game. I don't know what you guys are talking about, but the Raptors will get destroyed, lol, I take the Cavs by 8, you're being too nice because you're not Raptors fans.
Last meeting, Ilgauskas was the man scoring 30 points, grabbing 6 boards, dishing out 4 assists, had a steal, and 2 blocks on 13-18 from the field. Lee Nailon was our 2nd leading scorer with 15 off the bench. James, not having his best game, had 14, 3, and 4, with a steal, on 4-13 shooting. Boozer had 11 and 13, pretty solid. The Raptors could not throw a rock on the ground as Carter went 6-16, Bosh went 5-15, Strickland went 3-10 (but had 6 assists), and Peterson went 1-5. Donyell Marshall has been the man for the Raptors scoring 17.3 points and grabbing 10.6 boards per contest (not counting his 3's and his high FG%) Boozer will have to play better defense on Marshall and try to outperform him stat wise.
Donyell Marshall hasn't been the man, he's been but if you looked closely lately as us Raps fans have you'd realize that he's averaging 16.1 points and 10.5 rebounds now. The guys seems worn out and even though he's still rebounding, the last 5 games he's averaged 8.2 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.00 steals and 1.00 blocks, but shooting 30.8% FG, and 20.0% 3PT. Last 10 games: 9.2 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.40 steals, 1.30 blocks, but shooting 34.6% FG, and 22.4% 3PT.
He has been the man against the Cavaliers, I could care less about anyone else. This is because Boozer's man defense is weak and ge will give Marshall plenty of open looks. In those games he has hit big shots and grabbed big rebounds. The Boozer/Marshall matchup is my key to the game and is Carlos can have the bigger game, I expect the Cavs to win.
I think he will, Marhsall definately has had open looks in our last 10 games because I watched all of them, he can't hit shots anymore for some reason . He arguably lost 2 games for us because he missed about 3 three's where no one was near him, he'll be their on the boards, but don't expect too much scoring form him, this isn't the same Marshall from the last game, this is a very fatigued Marshall who is struggling. The last time Rose played the Cavs (a while ago) he also still had his finger injury which had been their since training camp but he didn't pay attention to it. It seems like it was the cause of his bad shooting because since Rose has returned he's been shooting about 47% compared to his 38-39% while he was still injured. Also our sixth man is Rod Strickland or Corrie Blount, not Micheal Curry (ahhhh), he just got lucky to get minutes last game that stupid peice of garbage. You think he's a good defender till he joins your team and you realize how garbage he is.

^ouch that sucks. Hopefully he returns on the roster next season. I think Cleveland is a great place for him to develope.
If we can get back into feeding the post guys in this one, we should get another win up. Toronto have weak defense inside so we need to exploit it. At the same time, we need some improved D on the perimeter otherwise Peterson, Carter and Rose can have a field day. Cavs must shut down there part time contributors in Strickland and Blount. We want to finish this season on a high, so we can feel confident for the next campaign. Tonight is a great oppotunity to do this. Cavaliers by 7
Wow this game has got some great matchups. Rose/McInnis Carter/James Bosh/Z. Hopefully this can turn the Cavs recent losing streak around and they can finish on a good note and hopefully that means they get into the playoffs. Cavs by 12
In my humble opinion, baseball blows. What do we expect from McInnis tonight? I only hope his shoulder is ok, unlike his last attempted comeback.
Carter looks like he'll go for 40 tonight. It seems everytime the Cavs play a team with a star, he always gets off on them.
29/20 Raps after one Vince Carter scored 18 in the first quarter nearly outscoring the Cavs himself. James has 4, 2, and 1 Boozer has 8, 5, and 1 Z has 8 and 4 J-Mac has 4 assists Those numbers don't look too bad, but we got NOTHING from anyone else.
Play Kedrick for christssake! Nailon is terrible, can't cover anyone and when he isn't hitting shots he is worthless.
