V Denver Nuggets (3-3) @ Toronto Raptors (3-2) Probable Starters Raptors PG-Alvin Williams SG-Vince Carter SF-Michael Curry PF-Jerome Williams CAntonio Davis Nuggets PG-Andre Miller SGVoshon Lenard SF-Carmelo Anthony PF-Nen C-Marcus Camby Keys to Victory Raptors-The Raptors have to get a good offense going early..They need a good start and for Vince Carter to get involved early on.The Nuggets defense is very good so It won't be easy to score points even more than normal for the Raptors.Controling the boards will be very important in this game I feel..Marcus Camby has really dominated on the glass so far this season with a 11 rebounds a game average...Davis,Williams need to keep him off the backboard while being some kind of force inside. Nuggets-Getting Melo to keep attacking the Raptors every chance he gets isk ey for Denver. If Melo has a good game the chances of a Nuggets victory would look good.Camby needs to keep crashing the boards as he has all season.Voshon Lenard needs to hit that outside shot as he will get some good looks today...And you can bet he will want to prove a point against his former team.Andre Miller needs to contol the offense...He has struggled getting assists so far this season but the last game against the Nuggets he managed to dish out 8 assists...Denver will need Dre to show his passing skills again tonight if they are to come away with the win Allnet's prediction It will be a good close game..Nuggets like to pressure teams in forcing really tough teams by playing tough hard nose defense...Raptors who struggle alot to score the basketball will need to get that offense going tonight...As good as Nuggets Defence is they can score...stopping the Nuggets running game will be the key.If Raptors let Earl Boykins get going they will be in trouble.Boykins right now is one of the top contenders for that 6th man of the year award..He is averaging 14.5 points per game so far this season.Given the Raptors are at home I will give them the edge in this one..but only because of that. Its funny how you didnt mention the Raptors defense when there alowing 79.2 ppg. And you mentioned the Nuggets defense and there are allowing 87.7 ppg. Plus you mention how Camby is a force on the glass when Jerome Williams is getting 12.40 rpg and Antonio Davis is getting 11.40 rpg.

If you think you can do a better preview...Make a long preview yourself..but I know that won't happen.

Whats bring a mod got to do with anything? You make game threads in the Raptors forum...So why not do detailed previews? Not bothering do previews just because you aren't a mod is a poor excuse.
Raptors get the win 89-76 Vince Carter finished with 34 points 10 rebounds and 6 assists on 14/22 shooting JYD 13 rebounds and Davis 11 rebounds...which was the key inside.. Carmelo Anthony led the Nuggets with 19 points on 6-16 shooting Andre Miller had a good all-round game and was once again close to a triple double with 18 points 11 rebounds and 8 assists Voshon Lenard and Rodney White did not play..Which meant a starting spot for Jon Barry but wasn't successful at it. Raptors improve to 4-2 on the season...and 4-0 at home Nuggets drop to 3-4 and visit the Bulls on monday night http://www.nba.com/games/20031109/DENTOR/boxscore.html
Nene Had about 4 wicked dunks. Bosh hit some big time shots when the Raptors were strugling. Milt had 14 points on 6/10 shooting and and 6 ast. I think Milt should be starting and Alvin should be on the IR.
Let's keep the bickering to a minimun, ok boys? Allnet, good job on the preview and Kid,Thank you for filling in some of the blanks. Both of these teams have taken a step up from last year and have been playing to win and I'll take a Raptor win any night of the week. Why did Camby only play 14min? Nene is just going to get better. Denver has a lot to look forward to.
