This season the Raptors improved a little bit. Thanks to Brian Colangelo the raptors are getting better. But do anyone think that the raptors are a playoff team?
Ya I think the Raptors are a playoff team, but then we will be eliminated in the 1st round possibly. We have the team chemistry and we showed others that we can be just as good as them. But then lets hope we can pull out this road trip since its important, and the atlantic is a tight battle right now between nets and raptors and I think knicks are 1 game back?
I think that when the season is near the end, they will be contending for a 7th or 8th seed. Since the east is so weak this year, anything is possible. Also, if the nets keep on playing bad like they have been so far this season, they COULD get lucky and win their division somehow. I see this team getting better also...Bosh was injured for a decent amount of time earlier this season, so that is why their record is worse than it should be. I see this team winning about 38-42 games and maybe squeaking in to the playoffs.
Easily can make it. They have depth, Sam Mitchell and Chris Bosh but will be beat out in the first round because they cannot finish basketball games.
We can make the playoffs. But I think we shouldnt. Look, we have a very young team, and if we do make it to the play-offs, we will lose in the 1st round. Also, we lose our draft pick if we make the play-offs. I think Bosh should still take the year off, like what they said before and just rest for next year. Witha high draft pick, we can get a really young good Guard, or an actually center because the draft this year is very strong.
In the East anyone can make the playoffs, yes pretty much anyone if you try a little bit. So I don't see why the Toronto Raptors wouldn't make the playoffs, there a talanted team with some great young players and Bosh is leading the way so I guess things don't look that bad for them.

But then its been years since we been in a playoff picture. But then ya I looked at nbadraft.net and the draft is pretty good some nice young C. Yi Jian Lian, Greg Oden, Aaron Gray and others. But then fans are restless here and fans finally get a great team.
I see the raptors easily winning their division and this is why:- Celtics really hurt with injuries.- the Nets Nenad Kristic is out for the season, therye frontcourt is really depleted and have no real rebounding presence.-Sixers whole "iverson" fiasco gauranteed them a top 3 lottery pick.
Why win it tho?We lose in the playoffs..and lose our pick. While Sixers get Oden, Celtics get a high draft pick.Nets will money. And I have no clue with Knicks.Lets just join the losing, get a good draft pick. And win it when we are stronger.
It all depends.I really think the Atlantic Division is going to turn around and that the Nets will start winning and going back to there ways.I don't know, it's just a gut feeling the Nets are going to turn it around. Philly is pretty much dead. So it comes down to 3 teams.Boston, Toronto, New Jersey.I think in the end, New Jersey comes out on top. Will Toronto make the playoffs? It's not a long shot, they very well could..
Yes, I think they can make the playoffs this season, but I really do not see them getting past the first round of the playoffs even if they end up winning the Atlantic, which in itself is not a guarantee. I know the Atlantic sucks and everything, but any team in that division can still win it... even the Sixers (unlikely, but possible... and something I'm not rooting for)... which really shows just how pathetic the Atlantic division has become.Don't count out New Jersey even with the loss of Nenad Krstic. The Nets always seem to go on a huge run in the second half of the season, and any team with a healthy Kidd, Jefferson and Carter are capable of making some noise. It's obvious that Bryan Colangelo's arrival in Toronto changed the culture of that team and that was expected, although I really think that they need a new coach after this season because Sam Mitchell just is not going to cut it. There are still some question marks regarding the future of Morris Peterson (trade rumors) in Toronto, but all-in-all this team is in the right direction, and will only continue to get better. Bosh just needs to worry about continuing to improve his game because his front office will surely put the right pieces around him for him to contend at some point down the line.

Yes, of course. I definately think we can win the Atlantic division. Here are some reasons...The Nets just arent doing well at all this year, they have no big men, and they might lose RJ for some time too. Already lost Krstic. Boston is slowly falling out of it. They are nothing w.o Pierce. I won't even talk about the 76ers...The Knicks just arent that good. bad defense, bac chemistry on offense, too many guards. Im surprised that they're doing so well thus far..After this 3 game road stand (against 3 sh*t teams), we have a ton of home games this month (where we are very good). I think we could even go over .500 for a period of time here. I definately see us taking the 4th seed.

Lose every game on purpose so we get a lottery pick? When we're in contention of the playoffs? You're nuts.Making the playoffs, even though we'll more than likely get eliminated first round if we do, is good for a team who's been missing them for a while now. Interest will gain, and players will be happy when all is said and done. We need to show improvement, and as long as we have the potential to we have to make a push for the playoffs, no questions asked.
I dont agree with you at all, Asian. We have a chance to get into the playoffs for the first time in what....4-5 years? We need to take that chance, and get back into the playoffs. Bosh will feel better about the organization if he finally gets into the playoffs. Come on. He's a 4th year veteran star player. We need to get him in there to get him happy about this ball club.Draft picks can wait. We've had high draft picks for the past 4-5 years. I'll be fine if we have a late a 16th draft pick, or something along those lines. We don't really need that much right now...We could use a good shooting swingman, but you don't need a top 5 or 10 pick to find that...
Ya definitely. The fans finally have something to cheer about and its been years since we got into the playoffs without VC in the mix. We had a lot of high draft and pick and I believe only one of them was a bust. I think Hoffa at 8th and he became trash. But then we are kinda filled at all positions and I think we don't really need a guard right now. Parker, Peterson, Ford, Martin, Jose, Jones and Tucker. They can all shoot the ball pretty well, but then Ford and Peterson are struggling with their shot this year. I believe we still need a decent big man. Even though we have Nesterovic, I think another big body in the mix coming off the bench will be good as well. But then I don't think Pape sow will be that big man seeing he doesn't get much playing time. But I sure do like his good hustle, reminds me of JYD.

I would defiantely say they are a playoff team. The way they are playing this season blows away the past couple of seasons away for sure. They deserve their spot they are in right now and I think they are very worthy of a spot. I think they would do great in the playoffs too.
If we play well these next 5 home games well be in top for sure. And well be in the playoffs. Lets Go Raptors.
